"Walk by faith, not by sight.
As you take steps of faith, depending on Me, I will show you how much I can do for you. If you live your life too safely, you will never know the thrill of seeing Me work through you. When I gave you My Spirit, I empowered you to live beyond your natural ability and strength. That’s why it is so wrong to measure your energy level against the challenges ahead of you. The issue is not your strength but Mine, which is limitless. By walking close to Me, you can accomplish My purposes in My strength."
2 Corinthians 5:7
"Jesus Calling" March 11 by Sarah Young
Each morning before school begins and the rush of the day is upon us, Christie and I have been praying together and reading through the devotional "Jesus Calling" by Sarah Young, written from the perspective that Jesus is talking to you. I can't even say how great of a blessing it has been to be start my day with that focus, and I believe that the most current theme of "trusting" has evidenced itself in my thoughts as I learn that waiting on God to guide me through the days, weeks, months and years ahead is a precious and valuable lesson to learn. My life was bought with a price, I am not my own. Do I live this out? and how? Do I lean on God for wisdom in decision making, or do I take on worry that devalues the peace that passes all understanding? Do I want what I want, or do I want what He wants? and am I willing to entrust my all into my LORD's tender, loving care? My life thus far has been so much lived for me-me-me, and where it goes from here I know not, but my God does and I rest in that knowledge.
