*twenty-eleven*

I had a beautiful week in South Korea with the best hosts and dear friends Justin and Young Jin Baney. We unwrapped this new year of 2011 quietly, sharing ways we have seen God throughout this past year and pondering and praying for the ways in which He will make Himself known over the next twelve months, along with a challenge from Romans 12...

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

I came home with a sobered, yet thankful heart for the reminder I so needed to not get caught up in the consumerism and self-centeredness that so quickly sneaks into our lives, entangling me in things that lack eternal value.

Young Jin's artistic talent blessed my arrival

convicted and softened to a BIGGER PERSPECTIVE
of the world and my journey through life.
